KH009 - Snakehole

We’ve been working on KH009, a new mini EP from Snakehole for some time and we’re stoked this tape is finally available for everyone to check out!
The Miami-based all-female trio brings the sludge like no other chick band around. Blending noisy, quasi-metal riffage with vocals dirtier than your favorite riot grrrl jams, Snakehole is definitely a sonic force to be reckoned with. Check out their recent live performance on Squelch TV to see what you’re getting yrself into. For fans of all things loud, slimy and distorted.
KH009 by Snakehole is limited to 50 hand-numbered copies on C12 cassette and you can pre-order your copy here directly from kill/hurt
You hear that kids? 50 copies = grab now or forever be disappointed. These girls sure know how to make some harsh sounds, and if you like their Squelch TV set from Dec. 7th 2011 (^^^) then this is currently their only released physical music as far as I know. Definitely getting from Bikini Kill vibes from them, mixed with something more raw and offensive. Check out this awesome interview with them explaining what Snakehole means.
Kill/hurt also has a cassette release of Tennis System’s debut Teenagers LP, but I already grabbed the vinyl so I’ll just stick with Snakehole. But whatever your preferred analog format, Teenagers is a solid debut and well worth the pickup as well.
