Pegasvs - Brillar
I’m super psyched to have been contacted by Spanish electronic duo Pegasvs, and after sittin on this on for about a week now, time to share. In the past few years I’ve been exploring and listening to more foreign bands, despite my lack of comprehending the vocals. With the right music, understanding the lyrics may not always be the thing I’m listening for, regardless of the language. I guess that could be taken as a back banded complement, but if the music can engage me without my comprehension of the lyrics, I call that success.
In this case specifically, Pegasvs immediately caught my attention on Brillar and the fantastic accompanying video. Sword forging? Golden winged helmeted hero pulling the sword from the stone? All shot on what looks like an 80’s camcorder? Brilliant. Especially nice to hear that this track is no one hit wonder, and as proof you can listen through a dozen more tracks on their SnDcLd here.
