Jessie Ware - Devotion

Just an update on the full length from Jessie Ware which I previously thought was only an ItuNes release, can be had on some honest vinyl via a few uk distributors online.  Whew.  PMR Records is releasing it, I would imagine in some fairly limited pressing considering the small runs (500 copies) of the singles.  Of course there’s no info on their site, and I only chanced on this when I saw it on boomkat.  Devotion is a solid down tempo pop record, destined for late night heavy rotation.

Jessie Ware - Wildest Moments

Just got turned on to Jessie by a visiting friend, over a bottle of vodka swapping our latest music finds.  They’re Russian, its cool.  Not that Jessie isn’t already blowing up with the new album (itunes only blerg, the worst) on the way, but I hadn’t paid much attention to her*.  Always handy to have a second set of eyes to introduce you to something new.  Also, GvB recently posted another new track, Sweet Talk.  Her tunes have a very laid back R&B rhythm, reminds me tremendously of Nite Jewel, ‘specially the new cleaned up album.

Killer vocals, I’ll be crankin this new album for sure.
