Charli XCX = guilty pleasure
But I guess I do like this single especially. The video is fairly priceless. She’s got her first full length on the way called True Romance, which will more or less be a lazy compilation of her previously released singles with a couple new ones.
Sorry for the snide tone, but there’s nothing worse than an artist releasing an album, no less a debut, and not recording new material specifically for it. It’s why the word compilation exists.
Charli XCX - You’re The One
If you haven’t already snagged it, grab her free Heartbreaks and Earthquakes mixtape here. Also Charli XCX and Grimes were on the cover of V Magazene and you can check out an interview of them. Charli XCX may have the pop diva title snagged, but Grimes still has her bested all around (not to mention 3 albums on her).
But this video is damn catchy if you’re down with some sugar sweet future pop.

Charli XCX - Dancing In The Dark
Apparently I Am Sound has signed Charli XCX and now she’s working on a EP to be released in May. Her self-described dark n goth infused pop backed by her killer British voice makes for a dangerously good combination, and I’m certainly looking forward to a physical release.

Charli XCX - Nuclear Seasons
Really loving this new dance club anthem from Charli XCX. Feels like Marina & The Diamonds, but edgier, darker and set in an NYC alley circa 1980. Very promising single from what’s sure to be buzz worthy newcomer.
Give me this on vinyl and I’ll dance all Halloween night long.
