Memory Tapes - Bicycle (The Horrors’ Cosmic Dub)

Been dreamin’ and waiting for the followup Memory Tapes LP for far too long.  Seek Magic was definitely a top record of 2009 for me.  If you missed that record, please do yourself a major favor and pick up the second pressing fromAcéphale Ltd to 1000 on white vinyl here 

On July 5, Carpark releases the long awaited 2nd LP from Memory Tapes, Player Piano (the LP will see release in Europe on Something in Construction, while Inertia will handle the Australian release).  Supposedly Dayve Hawk is taking the music in a new direct that focuses less on electronic ambient beats and more so “keyboard-based psychedelic girl-group songs,” whatever that means.  Personally I’m down either way, and the heavy electronic deals sound equally as good. 

This posted jam is a remix from a very limited Memory Tapes Bicycle 12” that I happened to track down via discogs.  Word of advice if you’re looking for some rare/OOP vinyl, chances are besides ebay, the best place to find it is on discogs; a free music database/community, where people privately sell physical music releases (ie lots o vinyl).
