Groundislava - After Hours

I was totally blown away last week by the a Groundislava track Suicide Mission, featuring a Baths appearance.  I immediately sought out the album, and if you’re into ambient electro with some 8bit happenings and guest vocals, this is prime stuff.  Filled with nostalgic 80s snyth work very akin to early Memory Cassette & Weird Tapes, before they combined into…well you know.   Some other guest vocals feature Clive Tanaka, Houses, Shlohmo, and Jake Weary.  They also have an earlier s/t album that’s even more strongly 8bit, that’s still available on Ltd red vinyl with a gold vinyl 7” here.  Check out that s/t album streaming on BnDcMp here.
