I’ve been following one man wonder, Teen Daze for probably about 5 months now since his Four More Years EP, and he’s surprised me with two more releases to finish out the year. A month ago, 4 track EP Beach Dreams appeared on his Band Camp, then as a new years present he released My Bedroom Floor. Thirteen dance infused pure pop tracks for all your party pleasures. “My Bedroom Floor” is a collection of songs that were written between January and April 2010. It was in the process of writing these songs, that I also wrote the 8 songs that would later appear on Four More Years. Those 8 songs were intended to be a part of this record, which I was recording for a different project of mine, when the whole Teen Daze thing took off. ~TD
That being said, this is still fantastic, and I can’t wait for more new material. I hope his next release shifts to more danceable pop, but with the accompanying lyrics to back it up. The vocals are best.
