U.V. PØP - No Songs Tomorrow Really enjoying this 1981 reissue on Sacred Bones Records.  I had never heard of these guys prior to the email from SBR, and one listen to No Songs Tomorrow was all it took to suck me in.  Slightly pop with a haunting edge, and I really enjoy the below quote from band member JP Shea further explaining the band mentality while recording this LP. U.V. PØP - No Songs...

New Selebrities Night Heat 7” to drop any day now.  Keep checking back at Cascine and hopefully this’ll be available in the flesh as more than just bits n bytes very soon.  Their EP and full length were both stellar and under appreciated if you’re into the dark/Gothic/80s/electro scene.

Alex Winston - Choice Notes Love this track and the colorfully fun video; fireworks, dancing, and homemade ghosts? Yes please.  Her voice in this one reminds me of early Cocorosie circa La Maison de Mon Rêve, which is my favorite of their albums.  Alex Winston’s LP is solid as well, check it out.
